UNEXPECTED BUNDLE OF JOY DELIVERED TO FIERCE & NOBLE

We had a shock when we arrived at work last week, as we found an alarming amount of blood on the pavement outside our front door. With no other signs of an accident or incident, we were not sure what to make of it.

Continuing with our day, an email entitled “Wednesday Night Incident” then appeared in our inbox. The email was from Chris Jury who began by sincerely apologising to the team for the condition of our pavement but was thankfully able to solve the mystery of what had happened.

Chris went onto explain that his wife, Sophie, had gone into labour with their first child at home, however things progressed very quickly and while they were on the way to hospital, they had to pull over and Chris delivered his new born son right there and then!

Needing to give the emergency services a location to meet them, Chris understandably thought of the closest place he could with an exact location, which would be easy to find - the Fierce & Noble Brewery.

Chris said; “It was quite a shocking experience as we were meant to be at Southmead in a nice labour ward, however the baby wasn’t hanging around.”

An ambulance quickly arrived and thankfully both Mum and baby were fine, if not in a little shock, and then were off to Southmead Hospital.

As any new father would be, Chris was proud to announce the arrival of his new son; Jude and the Fierce & Noble team were thrilled to hear such a happy reason for the state of our pavement.

In honour of baby Jude and the heroic efforts of Mum Sophie and Dad Chris, we are delighted to announce that our next beer will be named; Jude - a hoppy, kölsch style lager.

Our Ops Manager Thomas said; “Obviously it has been a tough time for our staff recently but hearing Chris’ story really gave our team a boost and we could not think of a better name for our next beer.”

The beer is be available to PRE-ORDER in 5L Mini Kegs TODAY!
Chris and Sophie will be sent the first one for tasting, of course!
